World Cup 2022 highlights: Richarlison, Brazil top Serbia, 2-0

The 2022 FIFA World Cup Brazil stopped Serbia 2-0 at the Lusail Stadium in Qatar on Thursday. Richarlison’s beautiful footwork earned Brazil three points in Group G and extended their World Cup winning streak.

Earlier, Portugal secured three points in Group H with a narrow 3-2 win over Ghana. Elsewhere, Switzerland won three points in Group G Cameroon1-0, and Uruguay the and South korea achieved a scoreless draw in the second match of the day. Both teams were awarded one point each in Group H for their efforts.

Antony replaced Neymar with an injury in the 80th minute.

Meanwhile, Brazil continued to put pressure on Serbia and that was it.

Group G was back in the lead on Thursday as the world No. 1 team took to the field. Entering Thursday’s match, Brazil is 73-18-18 all-time at the World Cup and has played in the tournament more than any other nation (22) this year.
