The 24-year-old model and the 32-year-old EDM artist are “having fun” amid their romance, which began as a “casual summer affair,” according to a source Us about the new couple.
Before they started dating over the summer, both Eve and Taggart made headlines for their past relationships with other stars. In March 2021, the “Paris” singer – who was previously linked with Meredith Mickelson and Haley Rowe – Breakup from Chantel Jeffries after a year of relationship.
“It was an amicable split and they remain friends,” said the Grammy winner’s rep Us back then.
Eve – who made her runway debut at Paris Fashion Week in September 2021 – was dating Kylie Jenner’s close friend Harry Hudson earlier in the year.
It’s been a tumultuous year for the DJ and the Stanford grad. The Chainsmokers released their fourth studio album, So far, so goodin May, and launched a series of shows this month that will take them across the country and into Europe through early 2023. For her part, Eve signed with DNA Models – the top agency she also represents – in early March Kai Gerber.
Last month the rider, who lost her father to pancreatic cancer in 2011, spoke candidly about her own career path. (Her mother is Laurene Powell jobswho co-founded Apple with her late husband.)
“I never anticipated modeling, and on a whim I thought, ‘Why not?'” she shared vanity fair, adding: “It drew on things I knew and ignited the part of me that competed [as an equestrian] always.”
Eve, who currently resides in New York City, also wanted to show her personality to the world.
“I’m a little weird,” she told the outlet. “Some people get a little taken aback by me, ‘I don’t know where to put them.’ But humor makes you feel alive.”
The New Yorker made headlines earlier this month when she took to her Instagram story with just that kind of humor. In the since-deleted upload, Eve poked fun at the latest iPhone model when she shared a meme about the new Apple product.
“I’m upgrading from ‘iPhone 13’ to ‘iPhone 14’ following Apple’s announcement today,” read the caption posted below a photo of a man holding up an identical shirt to the one he’s wearing.
Despite the humorous take on her late father’s company, the California native honors her father with her collection of vintage Apple T-shirts — including one that bears her name.
“Eve had the right idea,” reads the front of the garment, while the back of the shirt reads, “She picked an apple.”
“It means so much to me,” she said vanity fair. “I smile every time I wear it.”
