Saks strengthens men’s business online and in-stores

Saks is doubling down on its commitment to its men’s business, starting with an updated in-store men’s shopping experience and expanded online menswear assortment.

Men’s New Seventh Floor at Saks Fifth Avenue New York. – Saks

The retailer on Friday unveiled a new 40,000-square-foot elevated designer and contemporary ready-to-wear department on the seventh floor at its Saks Fifth Avenue New York flagship location.

The department welcomes over 70 brands – 23 of which are new to the store – and features shop-in-shops by major men’s brands including Celine, Dior Men, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, and more. In addition, a centrally located atrium space will showcase emerging designers and new-to-Saks brands on a rotating basis.

The space was designed with architecture and interior design firm Highland Associates, aiming to showcase an expert curation of men’s fashion in an upscale and easily navigable setting.

On the digital side, the retailer added more than 125 brands to its men’s range on Saks.com in 2022, including Jacquemus, Jil Sander, Junya Watanabe, Loewe and Sakai. Saks also expanded its fitness and activewear assortment into categories such as golf, ski and swim.

Similarly, the luxury retailer has launched an invite-only men’s brand ambassador program. Dubbed ‘The Sachs Men’, it consists of a diverse group of influential men who serve as brand ambassadors for Sachs. Members come from a wide range of industries including sports, entertainment, business, activism and more.
