Philly’s Gopuff aims to help fellow entrepreneurs with Small Business Accelerator Program – Metro Philadelphia

Gopuff — founded in 2013 by co-founders Rafael Ilishayev and Yakir Gola and headquartered in Northern Liberties — recently announced the second tier of entrepreneurs who will be part of its Put Me On small business accelerator program. Ten brands from across the United States will participate in the program, which aims to help increase awareness of their respective brands through Gopuff’s platform, while providing them with powerful tools and resources to support and grow their business.

“Supporting entrepreneurs and small businesses is a fundamental pillar of our work at Gopuff because Rafael and I understand the challenges of building a business from the ground up,” said Gola, who co-developed the Gopuff concept with Ilishayev while studying at Drexel University has developed . “The Put Me On program is a way for us to use our business model and resources to help others succeed, particularly entrepreneurs from underrepresented communities who face even greater obstacles. After the incredible success we had with the inaugural class, we are so proud to announce this new group of entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds who are ready to take their brands to the next level.”

The second tier of Put Me On attendees includes entrepreneurs from across the country, including Barkin’ Creek (pet care supplies), Boba X Ice Cream (ice cream with Asian-inspired flavors), dŌSA Naturals (scrubs, body butters, bath salts) and Dosso Beauty (Organic Beauty Vendor), GoOats Oatmeal Bites (Oatmeal On-The-Go), Hella Cocktail Co. (Mixology), Hrbvor (Herbal Tea), Nunbelievable (Cookies for a Cause), Superwoman! (fizzy drink that helps the planet) and Sweet Logic (keto-friendly desserts).

The Put Me On program brings together industry leaders and experts to support entrepreneurs from traditionally underrepresented groups and give them the opportunity to grow their businesses.

The first class of Put Me On participants saw overwhelming success in their business growth and strategy. For example, Cards for All People saw sales increase 318%, and French Toast Bites Ale used Gopuff’s business insights to agree an expansion of its ale line with its investors – doubling the company’s portfolio of beer offerings.
