Doha: The Social Development Center (NAMA) has launched the Inspired People 2022 program entitled From Idea to Success.
The annual series aims to highlight success stories and introduce entrepreneurs and the Qatari community to the most prominent local, regional and international successful entrepreneurs across a variety of fields and sectors.
“We seek to promote the role of entrepreneurs through this program, including their effective contribution to the development of local and national economies by spreading the messages of inspiration, encouragement and achievement,” said Saba Muhammad Al, executive director of the Center for Social Development ( NAMA). Fadala.
The director said: “The entrepreneurs could transfer their experiences to the new generation of entrepreneurs as we often try to rehabilitate and empower young people through the new and innovative programs and ideas that are in line with the Ministry of Social Affairs’ mission of development and family and the Qatar Foundation,” said the director.
Al Fadala added that the experience will further help expand opportunities for youth, build their skills and empower them for a brighter future for the country.
The Entrepreneurship Manager at NAMA, Mohammed Al Abdulghani said that the current generation of entrepreneurs has the appropriate ability to easily access all the information they need through the various modern technologies. However, the majority of them lack the ability to use their existing knowledge to create real-world experiences that contribute to their development and change.
He said that’s where the idea for a series of inspirational speakers came into play.
“We are always striving to hold the (Inspired People) speaker series events on an ongoing basis and to host speakers with novel visions to review their personal experiences and share their experiences across multiple disciplines with entrepreneurs in different fields and sectors,” said Fahad Ahmed Al-Mana, Manager of Communications and Media Office at NAMA.
The program is one of the main annual activities that the center would like to organize, where successful and inspiring entrepreneurs who have achieved concrete successes on the ground are attracted to further review their personal experiences and practical trips to help them with the goal paving the way for the new generation of entrepreneurs, as well as the opportunity to learn about the reasons for their success, as well as the main difficulties and challenges they have encountered on their way to success and the methods for overcoming these challenges.
