SOC2 is a standard from the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) on how organizations should manage customer data and specifies requirements for security, confidentiality, processing integrity, privacy and availability of systems. Recently managing life Type 1 compliance achieved which confirmed the existence of internal controls described in the Principles and Criteria for the Security of Trust Services. For its Type 2 certification, ManagingLife expanded the scope of its SOC2 compliance to include all 5 trust services criteria and demonstrated that the appropriate controls were implemented over a period of time.
