Andrew Keller, a 20-year-old home-schooled entrepreneur who has been a photographer since he was three, has launched his second annual edition of his Chattanooga & Surroundings Calendar.
He says: “Last year all over 700 were sold out. I ended up ordering more this year, expecting to increase my sales.” Mr. Keller is happy to announce to his buyers that he did all the design and photography work himself, and even took eight of the 12 photos while on a bike ride.
“My Grammy was the inspiration for me to start producing Chattanooga calendars,” said Mr. Keller. “She could never find one she liked, and I stepped in to fill that need, not just for her but for hundreds of other people.”
Mr Keller made arrangements with a Fort Oglethorpe printer to produce the calendar and prides himself on “keeping it local”.
It’s currently available at several local stores, as well as on his website ISOneedphotos.com, and has a cover featuring the bridges in downtown Chattanooga. Featuring photos of Lookout Mountain, downtown Chattanooga, and the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum, the calendar features many iconic Chattanooga scenes from the quaint town.
By creating last year’s calendar, he eventually met and won clients who needed his real estate photography services. Mr. Keller continued to grow this part of his business and has since been recognized as one of Chattanooga’s top eight real estate photographers by Gigster.com. “I’m busy in Chattanooga as well as places like Ellijay, Blue Ridge and Gatlinburg. In fact, I just got back from a trip to Branson, Missouri for a luxury cabin rental company.” Mr. Keller specializes in photography for short-term vacation rentals.
Mr. Keller is an FAA-certified drone pilot and has used his drone for some creative angles on this year’s calendar.
He can also mount photos onto metal, acrylic or canvas and add his Chattanooga themed work to your home or office decor. Some of his photos are already hanging in some stores in Chattanooga.
