Local Entrepreneur Competes on Wes Bergmann’s Live in Docuseries “The Blox”  – VVNG.com

HESPERIA, California (VVNG.com) – AJ Buonarigo, CEO and Founder of Ultimate Fitness Club, 24-hour fitness centers in Hesperia and Oak Hills, participated in the world’s largest live-in entrepreneurship show on earth, hosted by reality TV star Wes Bergmann!

Ultimate Fitness is on a mission to end the spread of misinformation in the fitness industry, also known as “bro-science,” and to fight the obesity epidemic that’s happening not just in the High Desert, but across the country.

AJ’s participation in this national docuseries helped cast a positive light not only on his mission with Ultimate Fitness, but on the High Desert as a whole. AJ grew up in the High Desert and graduated from Hesperia High School in 2009 before enlisting in the United States Army, where he served as a medic.

(While in the Army, he received his first bachelor’s degree in exercise science and has earned a second bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree in business administration, and is currently pursuing his doctorate in business administration.)

After returning from deployment in Afghanistan, AJ was medically discharged from the Army due to injuries sustained in combat and returned to his hometown to pursue his goal of opening fitness centers that focus on proper business morals and ethics and while fighting the plague of misinformation and greed in the fitness industry.

He got the opportunity to prove his business expertise in a competitive environment not only in season 4 of The Blox but also in season 6 and became one of the show’s first returning cast members!

AJ explains, “The Blox is what’s called a business incubator, which is basically a program designed to eliminate trial and error in your business to accelerate growth. Not only was it a rewarding experience to share with my colleagues, the knowledge and connections were priceless! Anyone with business interests or who would like to start a business one day should definitely check out the show as it is packed with actionable information from people who are actively involved in entrepreneurship! It might sound dry, but I promise you, with Wes at the helm, we definitely got the reality TV aspect in there too!”

(In addition to his two fitness centers, AJ has a podcast called The Breaking Point Show and manages short-term rental properties in addition to being a full-time college student and father.)

When asked why he does so many different occupations, AJ replied:

“We don’t live in a world where you can change something by doing what everyone else is doing. So if you want to change something, you have to grab people’s attention and start from scratch. I want to be the reason people genuinely believe they can pursue their goals, be it fitness, business, school or any of the skills I have to offer. I’m just a regular guy who wanted to break free from the constraints of living on the hamster wheel in order to make other people more successful, and I believe there are many other people like me who are afraid to take that leap. That’s why I went on the show, that’s why I mainly show people what an average person can achieve!”

AJ wants to see a change in the high desert and see it reach its full potential. He thinks those who watch the show might start wanting the same things, or at least be inspired to take the first step.
