KPMG International has appointed Regina Mayor as the new Global Head of Clients and Markets. In this role, Mayor will focus on leading the organization’s market solutions services and insights offering while working closely with KPMG member firms around the world.
The Big Four accounting and advisory brand, KPMG is a global organization comprised of independent professional services firms that provide auditing, tax and advisory services. Under the KPMG brand, member firms in 144 countries and territories provide services on behalf of KPMG International with more than 236,000 partners and employees.
Regina Mayor helps lead this international offering and has been promoted to KPMG’s Global Management Team. As Global Head of Clients and Markets for KPMG International, Mayor will be on the lookout for that Strengthening relationships and supporting multinational clients – drawing on three decades of experience in delivering large-scale business and technology transformation for large corporations around the world.
Commenting on her appointment, Mayor said, “Today, she is at the heart of the geopolitical challenges facing CEOs around the world. I have spent more than two decades in an industry that has seen many ups and downs.”
Citing a “period of great uncertainty,” Mayor argued that identifying risks and opportunities for the business community has never been more important. Looking ahead, she intends to help clients chart “a long-term course for recovery and a return to sustainable growth.”
Mayor was previously Global Head of Energy and Natural Resources at KPMG and is recognized as a global thought leader on the energy challenges and opportunities facing the planet today. This is particularly relevant right now as KPMG’s clients begin the transition to net-zero operations.
“My new role allows me to bring this experience and insight to a wide range of industries, member firms and clients on a global scale,” added Mayor. “KPMG has a network of some of the brightest and most experienced people across a variety of disciplines. We are in a strong position to truly help leaders navigate the many challenges they face today and face the future with confidence and resilience.”
Regina will be joined by three other newcomers at the GMT. Lisa Heneghan takes on the role of Global Chief Digital Officer – having recently helped launch KPMG’s new product line; while Paul Korolkiewicz becomes Global Head of Quality for Risk & Regulatory; and Gary Wingrove is named Global Chief Operating Officer.
