But some jobs in the educator sector pay less than others.
Data journalism website Stacker has compiled a list of the lowest paying educational jobs in the New York City area, which includes Newark and Jersey City in New Jersey. Data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics was used, with jobs ranked by 2021 annual median wage.
