Here are the 25 highest-paying education jobs in NYC, data shows

STATEN ISLAND, NY — Teachers and professors work hard in the classroom to shape future leaders, and it’s fair to say that education encompasses a variety of jobs.

Data journalism website Stacker explained that teacher salaries are a contentious issue, as the average teacher salary, adjusted for inflation, was less than about $2,000 a decade ago. But many of these jobs are also rewarding.

Stacker has compiled a list of the highest paying educational jobs in the New York City area which includes Newark and Jersey City in New Jersey. Data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics was used, with jobs ranked by 2021 annual median wage.
