In the speech, Arvind Kejriwal rejected the notion that a permanent employee does not work because of their steady salary and secure job.

“I can see every government slowly ending government jobs. They say that they (contract workers) will not work if they are hired permanently. It is wrong to say that a government employee does not work when they are hired permanently. He works when he is given respect and full salary,” Kejriwal said.
