Amon news – The 14th Global Entrepreneurship Week 2022 ended on Wednesday under the patronage of Her Highness Princess Soumaya Bint Al Hassan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Princess Soumaya University of Technology (PSUT).
Prince Sumaya delivered the closing speech at the event, which was organized by the Queen Rania Center for Entrepreneurship (QRCE) in collaboration with the Zain-ZINC Jordan Platform, and was delivered on his behalf by Acting Dean of PSUT, Wijdan Abul Hijah. He emphasized that the World Entrepreneurship Week provides a platform for successful, creative and outstanding people in different fields to share their best work with others.

He added: World Entrepreneurship Week is an exceptional opportunity to learn about the challenges and needs of other global markets, which allows young people to gain a better understanding of the characteristics of global markets and thus overcome the relatively limited local labor market.
Princess Samia pointed out that universities serve as centers for developing creative and commercial solutions for the biggest existential, social and economic challenges such as climate change, clean energy, fresh water, food security, cancer, autism and disease. Infectious will work.
He noted that universities are a place that helps to develop innovation and entrepreneurship organically, and connecting talented people and working together as part of research teams to investigate challenges makes them more efficient.

Mohamed Obaidat, director of QRCE at PSUT, emphasized the importance of Global Entrepreneurship Week, which brings together institutions of the Jordanian entrepreneurship system to celebrate Jordanian entrepreneurs, mentor them and provide them with opportunities to support the entrepreneurial process.
For his part, Tariq Bitar, Executive Director of Media, Communications, Innovation and Sustainability at Zain Jordan, praised the large number of young Jordanians who participated in the event, citing it as a testament to their passion for creativity and innovation. .
The activities of this week, which lasted from November 23rd to November 30th, focused on various topics including environmental systems, education, inclusiveness and politics. Ninety partners participated in nearly 500 face-to-face and virtual events.
