Over 100 cities offer flights to Istanbul (IST) at a hefty discount, so this offer offers a lot of flexibility. Many smaller cities in particular have these discounted flights, so if you live near Savannah, Georgia or Reno, Nevada, for example, then you’re in luck. Almost all flights in this offer include at least one stopover.

Here are some routes that we have highlighted:

  • Delta and Air France: from Charleston, South Carolina (CHS), from $982 (including multiple stops)
  • Delta and Air France: from Birmingham, Alabama (BHM) from $1,032 (including multiple stops)

We recommend using Google Flights to find your best dates and then booking your flights directly through the airline’s website. Airlines are more reliable when your flight is cancelled, delayed or rebooked.

One of the best parts of this deal is that it’s a discount on premium economy seats – most of the deals we’ve usually featured are for economy or basic economy, so at least this time you’re comfortable and cheap flights to Istanbul can get a significant discount.

The cheapest options for a February 10 flight to Istanbul from JFK in New York City are the two flights operated by Delta and Air France. One flight leaves New York City at 7:30 p.m. and the other at 9:30 p.m. Both include a stopover in Paris (CDG) so the choice is just a matter of preference.

For the return flight to New York City on February 17, Delta and Air France have two early morning options departing Istanbul at 7:25 am. One of the flights is two hours longer than the other due to a longer layover in Paris.

Air France operates flights from Paris to Istanbul and from Istanbul to Paris. Delta operates the other two flights from New York City to Istanbul and Paris to New York for round trip.

Delta’s Premium Select fare offers passengers free seat selection, premium seating, free flight changes, one free carry-on bag and two free checked bags. Premium seats recline, have more legroom, an adjustable footrest, and larger seatback screens.

Those flying Premium Select can also enjoy the benefits of Delta’s Sky Priority travel experience: faster check-in, expedited security screening at select airports, early boarding and expedited baggage service.

Delta Premium Select seats are located in the front of the aircraft. When booking these seats, remember that there is no ground storage, so Delta recommends anyone who needs special assistance contact a representative.
