Harvi Shah shares her journey from fashion entrepreneur to fashion business coach. She is the founder of BlingBag and has changed the direction of her company under the guidance of her mentor Siddharth Rajsekar.

Mumbai-based fashion business coach Harvi Shah was eight months pregnant when she launched her fashion jewelry brand, BlingBag. But it wasn’t until India’s leading digital coach, Siddharth Rajsekar, spoke about achieving freedom in business that she became interested in coaching. Since then, Harvi has trained more than 110 students and built a community of fashionpreneur warriors by enabling women to launch their fashion businesses online.
Despite having an IT background, she got big into sales and made Rs 6,50,000 in just two months after starting her own business online and taking the plunge into coaching and mentoring. She joined the Internet Lifestyle Hub in February 2020.
“I was fascinated by Siddharth’s words – ‘Anyone can coach’. The idea of helping women was also clear in my mind. However, the course I originally created on generic entrepreneurship had no sales and I gave up. Within a few months of this my husband lost his Rs 3 lakh/month paying job during the pandemic. I wanted to fill this money gap. I went back to coaching and started figuring out my niche,” says Harvi Shah.
As she found her niche, it soon dawned on her that Siddharth Rajsekar’s original proposal to her about lifestyle product coaching was actually something she felt connected to. “In the beginning, I wanted to help women start a business. However, I could get more involved with fashion ecommerce companies in apparel, jewelry, and home decor. That’s how I narrowed myself down to my niche and cracked the code,” explains the young coach.
Harvi Shah, a Diamond member in Siddharth Rajsekar’s Internet Lifestyle Hub community, was instructed to pump Rs 1 lakh a month into advertising and create a Level 2 course.
“I was told to press those two buttons. Although I was skeptical, I did. By August 2021 I was making Rs 6 lakh. In the next phase I had to increase my ad spend and start the level 3 course while level 2 had limited participants. I trusted the process. I realized that in order to scale, you have to spend the money you haven’t made yet. In November 2021 I made about 18 lakh rupees in a single night,” she said. However, she continued to face challenges such as low conversion rates and her Level 1 pipeline drying up as her students progressed to Level 3.
When Covid-19 caught her in January 2022, she took a break. At that turning point, she took a step back and told herself to accept the conversion rate and the numbers she was getting as her own benchmark and reference point for her knowledge business.
“Harvi has chosen a niche that is congruent with her own background and limited to her area. Going Micro is helping a business owner’s cause, and she has done so.
