You may need to pack a fat wallet when dining at Victoria & Albert’s at Disney World Florida.
After reopening after the pandemic in July, the restaurant’s cheapest option for a tasting menu went from $185 to $295. It’s also one of the most expensive restaurants in Orlando — costing about the same as high-flying Michelin restaurants.

What’s up with Victoria & Albert?
Victoria & Albert’s is a Victorian-style restaurant at Disney’s luxurious Grand Floridian Hotel & Spa. The hotel itself opened in 1988 and Victoria & Albert’s has operated there since at least 1993.
According to a Disney blog, it reportedly serves items (they aren’t listed on the official website and change frequently) like “New Zealand langoustine with passion fruit nuoc cham” and “Soft poached quail egg with Galilee caviar.” In addition to fancy food, you’ll be given a menu with your name on it, and you’ll be able to hear a harpsichord during dinner.
But all this luxury obviously comes at a price.
The three areas of the restaurant are The Dining Room, Queen Victoria’s Room and The Chef’s Table. According to Disney Food Blog, prices for all three rooms increased after the restaurant reopened in July.
At the cheapest option, The Dining Room, the fixed-price menu went from $185 to $295 per person. Well, if you want wine pairings, it’s an additional $150. The “Zero-Proof” options cost $110.
It is $375.00 for the fixed price menu for one person in Queen Victoria’s room. That’s up from $250 in 2020. Finally, dining at the fanciest eatery, The Chef’s Table, will cost you $425 per person, up from $235.
None of this includes tips or taxes, according to the website.
How do people react
Some people wonder if it’s worth the money, according to the New York Post.
Victoria & Albert’s has been on the AAA Five Diamond Awards list every year since 2000. It has 4.8 stars on Google.
“Pricey, but worth it for a top-notch dining experience,” wrote one Google reviewer. But others on Reddit, the Post noted, were concerned about the pricing.
“We honeymooned there in the ’90s and paid about $100 each. It’s always been on my wish list to go back someday, but not for $445,” said one Reddit user.
Another called the zero proof price. “What could you get for $110 in mocktails?” Said.
As the Post noted, TikTokers have been more supportive of the restaurant’s stunning visual representation of the dining experience. “I’m pretty sure I’ve had a religious experience with some of these dishes,” said one TikToker.
Others praised the attentive service and narrative elements of the meal.

Perform like others
Disney World is full of quirky restaurants — one of its restaurants, Capa, received a Michelin star in 2022, according to the Disney Food Blog. Victoria & Albert’s is heralded as a top pick, but there’s also Narcoossee’s, according to a Disney fan magazine that ranked it above Victoria & Albert’s in 2019.
But it’s not even the most expensive restaurant in the Disney stratosphere. 21 Royal at Disneyland, California costs $1,250 per person, according to Eater. A relatively chic restaurant, Bice Ristorante at competing Park Universal Studios, has entrees costing up to $50.
One Redditor pointed out that at Chicago’s three-Michelin-star Alinea, you can eat for “the same price” as some of the rates at Victoria & Albert’s. That’s actually true — the cheapest option at Alinea is $295 per Insider. (But meals can run into the $800s.)
