Cryptocurrency price today: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Cardano, other tokens flatline after crypto markets crash

Cryptocurrency prices have flattened out over the past 24 hours. The global cryptocurrency market cap is up just 0.40 percent and is still below the $1 trillion mark. According to cryptocurrency price data aggregator CoinMarketCap, the global cryptocurrency market cap is $938.18 billion. The total volume of the cryptocurrency market over the past 24 hours is $79.62 billion, up 21.72 percent from Monday’s level. Bitcoin dominance stands at 39.70 percent, down 0.20 percent during the trading session.

Bitcoin, Ethereum and BNB

Bitcoin, Ethereum, and BNB have also flattened out and haven’t shown much momentum over the past 24 hours.

Bitcoin is trading at $19,449, up 0.07 percent. Ether on blockchain network Ethereum is up 1.62 percent to trade at $1,363. BNB crypto, which is hosted by Binance Smart Chain, saw a gain of 0.59 percent.

USDT, USDC, DAI and BUSD stablecoins

Stablecoins USDT, BUSD, DAI, and USDC have not experienced extreme volatility like previous trading sessions.

USDT Tether stablecoin is up 0.01 percent in the last 24 hours and is trading at $1. USDC stablecoin also slipped 0.02 percent and is trading at $0.9998. BinanceUSD, or BUSD, saw a negative 0.02 percent change in value over the past 24 hours. The stablecoin is trading at $0.9999, while the stablecoin DAI is down 0.02 percent to trade at $0.9993.

Layer 1 blockchain token

Cryptocurrency tokens native to Layer 1 blockchain networks like Ripple and Solana have shown significant positive momentum, while others like Avalanche and Cardano have been flat over the past 24 hours.

The SOLana blockchain saw an uptrend of 3.22 percent. Ripple is up 5.28 percent, while Avalanche’s AVAX is down 0.04 percent. Cardano’s ADA slipped 0.12 percent.

Polkadot and polygon

Polkadot’s native cryptocurrency DOT has shown negative momentum, while Polygon’s native crypto token MATIC has flattened. DOT token is down 2.72 percent and Polygon’s MATIC crypto token is up 0.31 percent over the past 24 hours.

Meme cryptocurrencies also flattened. Dogecoin is up 0.42 percent, while meme crypto Shiba Inu is down 0.39 percent over the past 24 hours.

The majority of the top cryptocurrency tokens have flattened from their previous positions over the past 24 hours.
