Google Cloud and cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase have partnered to better serve Web3 developers. Coinbase has chosen Google Cloud as its strategic cloud provider to develop advanced exchange and data services. The company said it will leverage Google Cloud’s computing platform to “process blockchain data at scale and enhance the global reach of its crypto services using Google’s premium fiber optic network.”
Grubhub expands deployment of college robots to 170,000 more students
Grocery ordering and delivery company Grubhub is partnering with autonomous delivery services company Starship Technologies to offer robotic deliveries on college campuses. The Grubhub service is already available at the University of Kentucky, University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), Wayne State University, Southern Methodist University, and Fairfield University, and will be rolling out to several other campuses this year.

PayPal is bringing its PayPal Zettle Terminal mobile POS solution to American retailers with a feature designed to make it an attractive checkout tool for small businesses. The company said the tool “comes with the Zettle point of sale app preinstalled, and small businesses get an integrated solution that not only helps them accept a range of fast and secure personal payments — including credit cards, contactless, digital wallets, and PayPal and Venmo QR codes — but also helps them manage sales, inventory, reports, and payments all in one place.”
PostePay, Mastercard launches RTP solution in Italy
PostePay and Mastercard are collaborating to launch a request-to-pay solution in Italy to give businesses more control and flexibility over bill payments and cash flow. The tool offers billers the ability to request payments online in real-time, while the payer can accept or decline the request and then proceed to the payment method.
Worldline enables Indian payment methods RuPay and UPI in Europe
French payments company Worldline has partnered with the international arm of the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) to expand acceptance of Indian payment methods in Europe. Worldline will offer Indian customers greater convenience in European markets by enabling merchant POS systems to accept payments from India’s Unified Payments Interface (UPI) and RuPay.
