CBSE focus on fostering entrepreneurial skills through curriculum at schools

The days of mere technical expertise in any field are long gone and every educational institution, whether a school, college or university, makes the conscious choice to create and encourage ‘lifelong learners’. With this philosophy in mind and with the government’s national education policy aimed at comprehensive learning, the CBSE program now encourages entrepreneurial skills.

With the growth of globalization, the demand for entrepreneurship education has also increased and more students are needed who can provide creative and intelligent solutions to complex problems.

Entrepreneurship is the ability to develop and run a business that solves a problem and entrepreneurship has become a demanding subject. Entrepreneurship has become increasingly attractive in the current economic climate.

In addition to generating jobs, entrepreneurship contributes to economic growth. So it’s a great idea to offer entrepreneurship classes to young minds to boost their problem-solving skills.

Understanding entrepreneurial skills

Entrepreneurial skills encourage young learners and students to be more curious, collaborative, creative and innovative and to have reasoning skills. It also teaches them interpersonal and communication skills in addition to having a willingness for risk management, innovation, adaptability and good networking skills.
