For now, the competitors in the bracket will compete from two countries to win it all.
Brazil and Argentina are the two teams most favored to reach the finals from the contested brackets, with France and England rounding out the top four for the semi-finals. Tournament favorites Spain and Germany were selected in a lower bracket than the United States to advance to the semifinals.
Brazil and Argentina are more than 25% committed to the finals, with 28.2% and 27.7% respectively — far higher than the United States (10.7%) and France (7.1%).

Group winners
- Netherlands (Group A): 78.3%
- England (Group B): 72.1%
- Argentina (Group C): 84.0%
- France (Group D): 77.1%
- Germany (Group E): 58.6%
- Belgium (Group F): 69.2%
- Brazil (Group G): 95.9%
- Portugal (Group H): 67.0%
Not only are Argentina and Brazil favorites to reach the finals in our bracket, but they also have relatively weak groups. So, in most bracket entries, it’s clear that these two teams are out of their groups and beat them outright.
The Netherlands will also benefit from an underrated group that includes host nation Qatar. Despite not being one of the favorites to reach the final or semi-finals, the Netherlands are the next most common choice, winning their group with 78.3%. England and France rounded out the top five.
Don’t worry about the United States — the USMNT are second in Group B (58.4%) and the most common pick to advance to the knockout stages.

Brazil comes out on top as the team is heavily favored to advance to the Round of 16, with an overwhelming percentage of brackets in their favor.
Unsurprisingly, reigning champions France were slightly less favored than England to reach the knockout stage. England won the tournament only once in 1966.
The USMNT is also a popular team to advance to the Round of 16, with 45% of participants showing some love for the young team.
Advance to the quarter finals
- Brazil: 68.9%
- Argentina: 67.7%
- France: 43.7%
- Portugal: 26.1%
- England: 25.2%
- United States: 19.4%
To no one’s surprise, Brazil continues to lead the way, while reigning champions France are gaining some popularity.
On the other hand, the bracket opponents are not very confident about England’s quarter-final stage. The Three Lions Going from third in the odds of reaching the round of 16 to fifth in the odds to reach this stage.
Advance to the semi-finals
- Brazil: 39.9%
- Argentina: 34%
- France: 28.2%
- England: 14.6%
- United States: 13.6%
Parentheses are nothing if not consistent. Brazil and Argentina are still the two best teams to reach the final four. But there is a surprise – the United States are popular choices to reach the semi-finals alongside England.
In other words, contestants are rooting for the USMNT to make a deep run.
