AMD Stock Is Hitting Lows. Here’s When to Buy.

modern micro devices (AMD) eventually slipped, just like Nvidia (NVDA) made a few months ago.

Shares of the veteran chipmaker are down 8% on Friday, but not as they trail the broader market lower on a stronger-than-expected jobs report.

Aside from the impact the data could have on the Federal Reserve and rate hikes, AMD is down on company-specific issues.

On Thursday after the market close, AMD reported its preliminary third-quarter revenue of $5.6 billion, versus estimates of $6.71 billion and a previous guidance of about $6.7 billion.
