For some, Toronto is getting a bit stuffy and they might be looking for a change of scenery. Have you ever thought about moving to greener pastures? Well, this Canadian province is looking for skilled workers from Toronto to live and work there.
alberta is calling, The West Coast Province’s latest ad is calling for big-city workers to make the switch.
The campaign originally launched in Toronto last month and, according to its publication, aims to “attract qualified, educated and ambitious talent to Alberta. Continuing the effort, the next phase of the campaign was unveiled, explaining why workers in the city should consider Alberta their future home.
According to its publication alberta is experiencing “unprecedented” growth in its economy and jobs in sectors like technology, finance, renewable energy, film and more. It currently has many vacancies but not enough people to fill them. They have more than 100,000 vacancies as the vacancy rate is high.

“After several tough years alberta is back in a big way. One of the challenges we face is that we don’t have enough staff to fill all the newly created positions. alberta is friendly, affordable and offers unlimited possibilities, and we are here to take our case to qualified professionals Greater Toronto Area,” Alberta Premier said Jason Kenny.
Not only are there jobs, but Alberta also has some perks that others might find intriguing.
These include high average wages and the lowest taxes in all of Canada, home ownership at a fraction of what it costs in Toronto, shorter commutes and access to some of nature’s finest works of art for hiking, skiing and more.
And not to mention more than 300 days of sunshine a year.
