AJBWC holds its third meeting for the year 2022


dr Amna Khalifa Al Ali, Board Member of Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) and Chair of Ajman Business Women Council (AJBWC), chaired the third session of AJBWC for 2022 to review, discuss and discuss the existing achievements and projects of the Council The Council’s forthcoming vision for the implementation of initiatives, projects and exhibitions and review the plan for internal and external participation of AJBWC members who have obtained the Bidayat license and businesswomen in general

The meeting was held at AJBWC Headquarters and was attended by Aisha Khalfan Al Nuaimi, AJBWC Vice President and Board Members, and his women staff. During the meeting, the items on the agenda were discussed. the minutes of the previous meeting were approved and the implementation of the proposals and activities approved at the previous meeting was checked.

dr Khalifa welcomed the participants and commended the efforts of the AJBWC in implementing a series of pioneering and innovative initiatives and projects that embody the directions and goals of the AJBWC and keep up with the aspirations of women entrepreneurs and future prospects and implement special projects. that reflect the happiness of women and improve the quality of life. She also commended the AJBWC’s efforts to provide proactive services to improve the quality of services to support and sustain women entrepreneurs’ business.

She added: “ACCI’s AJBWC aims to diversify its participation in exhibitions and professional forums inside and outside the country, with the aim of enabling business women to study best practices and take an innovative approach to project selection and development to pursue to ensure upgrading the quality and competitiveness of the products and services dedicated to businesswomen and increasing their market share, alongside the AJBWC’s zeal to organize specialized exhibitions and events to serve its members and businesswomen in general”.

Participants were briefed on the developments of the Bidayat License and the Zayyat program being implemented by the AJBWC with the aim of strengthening ties with government and private entities in the third quarter of 2022. The AJBWC visited the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair, Gracia Group in Abu Dhabi, ZOYA Health & Wellbeing Resort in the heart of Al Zorah district in Ajman and the Penal and Correctional Facility in Ras Al Khaimah.

As part of the AJBWC’s efforts to expand its partnerships and improve collaboration to deliver value-added initiatives and events, the Council signed two collaboration agreements with the Arab Women’s Council for Social Responsibility and the Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation in Ajman. The Council also encouraged participation in a number of forums and events including the Women’s Entrepreneurship Conference at the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the 6th Regional Forum of Arab Women and the Make in the Emirates Forum. the activities of the 7th session of the Liwa Ajman Date and Honey Festival, in addition to the external participation, including the “4. Gulf Forums on the occasion of Kuwaiti Women’s Day, Fashion Week in Italy, the activities of the 2nd Arab Forum for Professional Women on the topic “Future of Businesswomen in Digital Economies” in the Sultanate of Oman.”

The meeting also discussed the initiatives implemented in the third quarter of the current year, including the “Sports Platform” initiative, which aims to launch and promote various public health programs, activities and services throughout the year participation in local, regional and international health and sports events, the “Ryouqi” (My Breakfast) initiative, which provides a platform for the sale of “Ryouqi” products to the staff of the Council’s partners’ authorities, and the Business initiative Clinic which aims to support the continuity of the business sector in Ajman, promote investment opportunities and overcome the difficulties faced by women in the implementation and development of their project.

Efforts by AJBWC to provide a training platform during the summer period were also reviewed where the Council of Ajman Center for Entrepreneurship organized 4 training workshops of different ages with the aim of providing young people and young people with skills and knowledge related to project management and project implementation.

In the third quarter of this year, the AJBWC organized the “Women is the Pulse of the Nation” forum under the motto “Quality of Life”. The AJBWC helped organize the Emirati Women’s Forum, themed “An Inspiring Reality. A Sustainable Future” in cooperation with the Umm Al-Moumineen Women’s Association in Ajman.

At the end of the meeting, Dr. Amna Khalifa to all the government and private partners of the council and commended the ACCI’s full and continued support to empower businesswomen in Ajman. She stressed that the Council is striving to diversify its initiatives and activities to serve women entrepreneurs
