African Union Commission Deputy Chairperson to Deliver Keynote at Africa Women Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum (AWIEF) 2022

The Africa Women Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum (AWIEF) (www.AWIEForum.org) has confirmed that the Vice Chair of the African Union Commission (AUC), HE Dr. Monique Nsanzabaganwa, who will deliver the opening remarks at her annual AWIEF conference next week.

The AWIEF2022 Conference and Awards (Hybrid) will be held on September 26-27, 2022 on-site at The Nile Ritz-Carlton, Cairo, Egypt and online in partnership with the Egyptian Ministry of International Cooperation (MOIC). The event is co-organized by the Egyptian Businessmen’s Association (EBA). This year’s conference theme is Promoting Africa through gender integration.

Irene Ochem, Founder and CEO of AWIEF, said: “We are honored and very excited to have the Vice Chair of the AUC attend AWIEF2022. dr Nsanzabaganwa joins a strong global panel of speakers for AWIEF2022, including Egyptian Minister for International Cooperation HE Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, Damilola Ogunbiyi, Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General and CEO for SE4ALL and Co-Chairs of UN-Energy, Elena Atanasova Panova, UN Resident Coordinator in Egypt, and Solomon Quaynor, Vice President for Private Sector, Infrastructure and Industrialization at the African Development Bank (AfDB).

The two-day event aims to foster and accelerate the growth of MSMEs and SMEs for Africa’s inclusive economic development and brings the African entrepreneurial ecosystem to discussions on entrepreneurship, leadership, technology and innovation, sustainability, intra-African trade, finance and investment, energy and infrastructure; and agriculture and food security.
