Voting for the WOMB Bermuda Female Entrepreneur Award is now open and everyone can cast their vote online.
A spokesperson said: “Vote now for the Female Entrepreneur of the Year 2021/2022. In the past month, the nominations have been pouring in, with almost 80 individual nominations resulting in 40 nominations! Congratulations!!”

WOMB Bermuda Facilitator Stephanie Lee says; Every year the list of candidates increases. As part of the nomination form, we ask people to explain why they are nominating the business/individual for Female Entrepreneur of the Year 2021/2022. The stories people leave are inspiring and show the resilience and determination of Bermuda’s female entrepreneurs.
A spokesperson said: “This is a people’s choice voting system. Vote for your favorite female entrepreneur and encourage your friends and family to do the same. Voting is online here.
“Knowing that the community is driving the nominations and voting is a huge boost for these women, personally and professionally! I’m excited to see who this year’s winner will be!
“Voting begins on Friday, November 4 and ends on Sunday, November 13. The top 3 candidates will be invited to the 5th Inspi.[Her]Women’s Entrepreneurship Weekend 2022 presented by Bermuda Economic Development Corporation.
“In celebration of the fifth annual conference, the weekend of Friday November 18 to Sunday November 20 will take place on the beaches of Cambridge, where the finalists and winners will be announced.
BEDC is excited to partner with WOMB’s Stephanie Lee again this year for the 2022 Woman Entrepreneur Award, which will be presented at the Women’s Entrepreneurship Day conference on Saturday, November 19.
Our main goal is to not only highlight some of our amazing women who have embraced entrepreneurship, but also to recognize the talent we have all over Bermuda. It was a successful addition to the virtual conference held last year and we look forward to many more years by Colina Outerbridge, BD&PA at BEDC.
