Dallas, September 20, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Comerica Bank has named Trent Samson, Jerry Collazo and Adriana Najera to its newly formed South Dallas Business Banking team, led by the Group Manager Derric Hicks.

Hicks, who joined the bank earlier this year, said he’s assembled a team that best represents the different communities the team will serve.

Sampson, who will serve as DFW South Senior Relationship Manager, has been a fixture in the North Texas Commercial banking community as well as with Comerica for more than 25 years. A graduate of Southern (La.) University, he earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and economics and later graduated from the Southern Methodist University Southwestern Graduate School of Banking. Sampson volunteers for the North Texas Food Bank and is a member of Comerica’s Financial Education Brigade, teaching finance courses in low- to middle-income communities.
Collazo, a Business Banking Relationship Manager, has been in banking for more than 15 years. A graduate of University of Texas at Arlington, he holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminology with a minor in Spanish. Collazo is active in the community and participates in financial education forums for SCORE Dallas and fort worth and the Dallas Mexican Consulate Office.
Najera has assumed the role of Senior Lending Assistant after nearly three years as a member of Comerica’s retail banking team. In addition to her day-to-day duties, Najera is a member of Comerica’s North Texas Women’s Forum and Mi Gente Employee Resource Groups (ERG), which aim to recruit and retain talent and provide personal and professional development opportunities to women and Latino employees and employees respectively.
